Hugh Bowen
Hugh Bowen worked as a marketing manager in the videogame and computer industry from 1982 to 1992. He developed and marketed over 125 games for Activision, Epyx, and Sega. He was a key marketing executive at Sega during its meteoric rise from a near zero to a 55 percent U.S. market share, when reportedly it was the fastest growing U.S. consumer company ever. Since 1992 he's run Bowen and Associates, a research firm that studies high tech products, consumer electronics, software and web sites. Hugh publishes the interactive entertainment newsletter, The Bowen Report. He is a frequent speaker at industry trade shows, including E3 and the Software Publisher's Association.
